Chanaka joined DS Advisory in 2005 and became a partner of DS Advisory in 2013. He brings a wealth of expertise gained from more than 18 years of experience in tax and accounting, business services and public practice.

Chanaka enjoys the challenge of finding solutions to suit his clients’ individual circumstances and assisting them through their financial journeys. He strives to go the extra mile for clients and is dedicated to helping his clients succeed.

A keen sportsman, Chanaka is a former Victorian subdistrict cricketer, and current player and member of the Rowville Cricket Club. He’s the father of 3 beautiful children and loves the beach, cooking and spending time with family.

Chanaka is a CPA and holds a Master of Accounting from Central Queensland University / Victoria University and a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) from Central Queensland University.

He is a Member of the CPA Southeast Working Committee, the CPA Discussion Group – Dandenong, and former chair of the CPA Dandenong Discussion Group.
